By using the RotaMuse mobile app or rotamuse.com you agree to these terms.
RotaMuse is operated from Türkiye. The Turkish text is the binding version; this translation is provided for convenience. See Kullanım Koşulları.
1. Parties
These terms are between Mesut Beysülen, who provides the service, and you as its user.
2. What the service is
RotaMuse is a mobile app for discovering places in Istanbul’s historic peninsula, building a walking route around your time, budget and interests, and reaching local businesses and guides.
RotaMuse is not a travel agency, tour operator or booking platform.
3. Price and account
- The app is free in this release. There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions.
- No account is required; the app is used anonymously.
- If a paid plan is introduced later, you will be informed and asked to confirm before any purchase.
4. No bookings or payments
You cannot book or pay through the app. Any contact you make with a business or guide by phone, WhatsApp or their website, and any agreement you reach, is directly between you and that business. RotaMuse is not a party to it.
5. Accuracy of content
Information about places, entry fees, opening hours, distances and durations is indicative and may change. Please confirm with the official source before you visit.
- Entry fees shown are estimates. Stops with an unknown fee are excluded from the total and reported as such.
- Distances and walking times are calculated estimates and vary in practice.
- Business and guide profiles are based on what the business itself declares. A “verified” mark means contact details were checked; it is not a promise about service quality.
6. AI-assisted suggestions
Route alternatives are partly generated by artificial intelligence. They are produced automatically, may contain errors and do not replace professional guiding. Whether to follow a suggestion is your decision.
When the AI service is unavailable, the app shows curated routes or an ordering calculated on your device instead.
7. Sponsored content
Where a campaign or business placement is paid for, it is always shown with a “Sponsored” label.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to break applicable law, not to overload the service or attempt to bypass its access limits, not to submit content that infringes others’ rights or is misleading or abusive, and to give accurate information in the forms. Access may be restricted where these rules are broken.
9. Intellectual property
The RotaMuse name, logo, interface design and editorial content belong to their rights holder. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. Copying or republishing the content commercially without permission is not allowed.
Map data is subject to Mapbox and its contributors’ terms; place imagery is subject to its own source licences.
10. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, no warranty is given that the content is uninterrupted, error-free or always current, that a suggested route suits your needs, or as to the quality of third-party businesses, guides and external links. You remain responsible for your personal safety and your decisions while travelling.
11. Changes to the service
Features may be added, changed or removed. If the service is discontinued, a notice will be published on this page.
12. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the new version is published here with a new version number. You will be informed in the app where a change is material.
13. Personal data
How your personal data is processed is described in the Privacy Policy.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul have jurisdiction. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
